SkyWatch Co-Founder. NASA International Space Apps Winner. Google for Entrepreneurs Alumni. Forward-thinking. Idealist. Self-taught. Passionate about creative and innovative solutions to global problems. Business & Product Development specialist.

In April 2014, with a team of five, James built SkyWatch (SkyWatch.co), a project Maclean’s Magazine called “Twitter for the sky.” SkyWatch taps into NASA space and ground-based observatories to provide the public with a real-time feed of everything being captured in the Universe. The project went on to win the 2014 NASA International Space Apps Challenge.

Since the win, SkyWatch has driven forward with the greater goal of becoming the number one source for all data originating from outside of our planet. The company is currently situated at Communitech, having just completed the 6-month Google For Entrepreneurs program within the Communitech Hub. They are preparing their first product for a May 2015 release.
